Last month, I received an email from Cheyne who was planning on proposing to his girlfriend Jocelyn (who is also one of our friends from youth ministry days) and I was so excited that he reached out to me to photograph it. Getting to witness and document proposals is honestly one of the sweetest, most joyful experiences. Cheyne put so much love into every detail for Jocelyn and it was beautiful getting to watch it all unfold.
From the Bride Jocelyn:
"Cheyne's birthday dinner turned into a surprise scavenger hunt proposal! I showed up at the apartment and was greeted with directions and rules! First stop was our first kiss, and one of my best friends was there to greet me with my next clue. The next stop was where he asked me to be his girlfriend, and another best friend was there to greet me with my next clue, which led me to Olive Avenue Market where yet another best friend was there with another clue. That clue led me to the quad at the University of Redlands where Cheyne and I have had several picnics. There, in front of the chapel were my parents who led me to Cheyne. I walked inside of the chapel and there were pictures from birth to present of the both of us that led me to a choir singing in Latin "I have found the one whom my soul loves." I died some more. He brought me on stage and the rest is history because I don't even remember what he said! After the big yes, I turned around and all of our close family and friends were there in the audience! Someone pinch me, I get to spend forever with my best friend!"
